McCormick Review- Let’s Spice up things with the Best

Another food item near and dear to my stomach and mouth is herbs and spices. I just can not do without these best flavor enhancers in my foods. McCormick is a company that goes out of their way to help us take those plain and boring foods and change them into foods that delights the mouth. So here is a list of all the wonderful herbs and spices that they provide.

Ginger

Most people, when they use ginger it is usually in savory dishes or sweet desserts, to make them taste more yummy, but did you know that ginger has other benefits for us? Well, here is a list of other reasons to use ginger: it may reduce soreness and muscle pain, it has anti-inflammatory effects, it may lower blood sugar, it can help treat chronic indigestion, as well as help lower cholesterol levels, and it may even help prevent cancer. Here’s a spice that will knock your socks off and put them back on. It adds lots of zip to every dish from chili to Mediterranean food dishes. Plus, it does great things for your body, such as improving digestion, providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds, and it may also prevent brain aging, to name a few things.

Basil is a herb that is sweet and fragrant, great on chicken, pork, seafood and pasta and it has some wonderful other benefits. It is rich in vitamins A,K, and C, and provides iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Other goody’s it has for you are antibacterial properties, it’s high in antioxidants, reduces swelling and inflammation, has anti-aging properties, reduces oxidative stress, and fights cancer as well as many other great things. And I thought it was just great in pizza!

Time (Thyme) to check out this herb. It has many uses besides putting it in all types of dishes that it is great for. Say, like spaghetti sauce. What are the things it is good for? I thought it was just great in food!

Here it “Cumin” again. What is so great about this herb? For one, you can add this to soups, stews, vegetables and meats to increase the flavor. After learning all this, I am going to load on the allspice in my desserts.

This is one spice that is used in a lot of foods and drinks from cinnamon rolls to hot apple cider cinnamon drink. What do you use cinnamon the most for? What are the benefits of cinnamon for our bodies? Well, here are just a few of them: it is high in antioxidants, relieves inflammation, improves heart health, may help with reducing cancer risk and there are many more benefits, so you may want to sprinkle some extra cinnamon in your food. I know I will.

Planters Nuts Review- You’ll Go Nuts over the Best !

I don’t know about you, but I always loved nuts and I have a saying that goes like this ” I never met a nut I didn’t like,” a play on words that makes you scratch your head on what I mean. This brings me to Planters Nuts, “the best nut people.” If anyone knows nuts, they do! They have a whole passel of these delicious nuts, so I will give you a nice run down on what they carry and you can decide which one drives you nuts.

Here is something I enjoy very very much and have been doing for many many years and never get tired of it (well maybe after a fifty-mile ride.) Bicycles are very poplar all around the world. Dole’s Fresh Vegetables Review- The Best Vegetable’s Around

I know another veggie tale on how good it is to eat vegetables when you would rather eat a big fattening chocolate bar, if you’re anything like me. But as I think about it, eating vegetables is a better deal which brings me to Dole’s fresh vegetables the best. Dole’s is a company that knows the value of vegetables and here I will explain what they have to offer us.

Broccoli


What’s all in broccoli which is called the “super veggie?” Well, let me tell you: there’s potassium which helps maintain good blood pressure, fiber – we all know what that’s good for, Vitamin A which is good for vision, Vitamin C which aids in a healthy immune system, Vitamin K for normal blood clotting, riboflavin that supports energy metabolism, Vitamin B6 for the nervous system, folate for a healthy heart, phosphorus which is good for bone structure, and manganese which also supports energy metabolism. Wow! No wonder they call broccoli the super veggie! That’s a lot of goodness.

Romaine Lettuce

Cauliflower

Cauliflower is a good source of vitamins K,C,B6 and Folate. It is a vegetable that can be eaten raw or cooked – whichever you prefer. So have some cauliflower for any meal occasion.

We all know that eating beans is good for us because they are full of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. There are many ways you can prepare beans. I am sure we are all looking for ways to stay healthy and looking for best products that help us do just that. Well, I found a company called Melaleuca that sell products that are good for both you and me AND the environment. So I have been buying their products for a while and have been happy with the results so far. They have so many products for personal use and for around the home, I decide to list them for you.
