We all know that eating beans is good for us because they are full of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. There are many ways you can prepare beans. Well, there is a company out there that’s “full of beans,” so to speak. Its been around for one hundred and elevens years. When it comes to beans, they have the best and fit the bill (or beans.) The company is called Bush’s Beans. I will break down the many uses or recipes for their beans below.
For dinner there are 33 recipes that you can use. Examples are: baked beans & cheese, baked hot dogs, protein-packed grilled cheese, and the ultimate stuffed burger. Boy, these recipes make my mouth water! How about yours? Other uses for baked beans are as side dishes, casseroles, skillets,salad, chili, slow cooker recipes and soup. That’s a lot of ways to enjoy baked beans!
I did not know that beans were great for the grill too. Let’s start with dinner again. There are 25 recipes for this one and they are: grilled chicken pallard, coffee & chile rubbed pork chops, BBQ chicken pizza, honey chipotle steak hot dip, and many more. I do not know about you, but I am all fired up about this use for beans!
They say variety is the spice of life. They may have been talking about beans. Take it from me, I like variety in my life and I can say beans are one of the foods I enjoy in many forms. Reduced Sodium Beans
People who struggle with high blood pressure or folks who open up a can of beans and find they get a little beans with their salt may prefer the reduced sodium beans. There are a smorgasbord of recipes from dinner to salads to slow cooker and many more to choose from, but the one that I think sounds yummy is Ground Turkey Chili with quinoa. Well, as Forrest Gump would say “that all I have to say about that.”
