Planters Nuts Review- You’ll Go Nuts over the Best !

I don’t know about you, but I always loved nuts and I have a saying that goes like this ” I never met a nut I didn’t like,” a play on words that makes you scratch your head on what I mean. This brings me to Planters Nuts, “the best nut people.” If anyone knows nuts, they do! They have a whole passel of these delicious nuts, so I will give you a nice run down on what they carry and you can decide which one drives you nuts.

For those of you that like a lot of crunchiness, Planters has four different flavors. They are: cinnamon brown sugar, mesquite, sea salt and black pepper hot n spicy. You choose what’s your crunching pleasure. As for me, l’d have to go for the cinnamon brown sugar.

Now these are one of my favorite nuts. I just cannot stop with one big hand full of these beauties. They come in halves and pieces, deluxe(whole nut) and unsalted (for those who are trying to lower the amount of salt in your diet.) One more type of cashew that Planters makes is honey roasted, for those of us that have a sweet tooth.

For people on the go who don’t have time to eat a full meal, try this blend of cashews, almonds, dried cranberries, dried apples and granola. Sounds yummy to me!

Now, who doesn’t like peanuts? There are many types of peanuts to choose from. They include: dry roasted, unsalted dry roasted, honey roasted, classic, cocktail, and flavored. The flavors are smoked, chili lime, sweet n crunchy, cocoa, salted caramel, sea salt and vinegar, and chipotle. Wow! Give me a glass of water. Just mentioning some of these peanuts makes me thirsty!

They come in two flavor types, which are brittle nut medley and winter spiced mix. I guess this is good. It’s a delicious way to spend those long winter days. The types of nuts are peanuts, almonds, raisins, sesame sticks and yogurt covered raisins. It sounds like once you start you can not stop til there all gone.

This mixture of nuts consists of peanuts, almonds, pecans, cashews, pistachios, and Brazil nuts. All of these are loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein. Sounds like a good and healthy snack for between meals. Deluxe comes salted or lightly salted for your enjoyment.

For those of you who are heart conscious, Planters has a special mix for you! It has walnuts, pistachios, pecans, almonds, peanuts, and hazelnuts so you can eat them knowing they are good for your heart as well as your taste buds.

Dole’s Fresh Vegetables Review- The Best Vegetable’s Around

I know another veggie tale on how good it is to eat vegetables when you would rather eat a big fattening chocolate bar, if you’re anything like me. But as I think about it, eating vegetables is a better deal which brings me to Dole’s fresh vegetables the best. Dole’s is a company that knows the value of vegetables and here I will explain what they have to offer us.


What’s all in broccoli which is called the “super veggie?” Well, let me tell you: there’s potassium which helps maintain good blood pressure, fiber – we all know what that’s good for, Vitamin A which is good for vision, Vitamin C which aids in a healthy immune system, Vitamin K for normal blood clotting, riboflavin that supports energy metabolism, Vitamin B6 for the nervous system, folate for a healthy heart, phosphorus which is good for bone structure, and manganese which also supports energy metabolism. Wow! No wonder they call broccoli the super veggie! That’s a lot of goodness.

Romaine Lettuce

I have been very fond of lettuce and this one is one of my favorites. It has the following good nutrients in it: Vitamin A, Vitamin K and folate. (Yum – makes me want to eat more salads!)


Any way you cut or cook them, potatoes are just delicious. They have in them vitamin C, potassium, Vitamin B6 and manganese, so do not leave them out of your dinner menu.


Another what for dinner veggie is asparagus. This veggie reminds me of flowers just before they bloom. They are loaded with good nutrients: Iron, which is good for carrying oxygen throughout your body, Vitim an A, Folate, and Vitim an K. So eat your asparagus because it is so good for you.

Now carrots, I can just eat out of the bag. They are so good and sweet. They have a good amount of Vitim an A for good vision. They are also a good source of Vitamin K which, as I mentioned earlier, supports normal blood clotting.


Cauliflower is a good source of vitamins K,C,B6 and Folate. It is a vegetable that can be eaten raw or cooked – whichever you prefer. So have some cauliflower for any meal occasion.

Sweet Potatoes

When it comes to sweet potatoes, you either love them or hate them, but they too are a super veggie with a lot of good stuff in them. They have manganese, Vitamins A and B6, potassium, and fiber. They are used in many types of dishes. If you’re a person who loves sweet potatoes, see how many recipes you can find and enjoy!

Here is a veggie with a lot of muscle. So what makes this so good, you ask? Well, let me tell you! Brussels sprouts contain 120 percent of the daily recommended vitamin C, and 190 percent of recommended vitamin K and Vitim an A. Plus, they are chock-full of Manganese, Fiber and Folate. So if you enjoy eating brussels sprouts this should make you feel pride!


If you’re a mushrooms lover like me, this should make you want to eat even more of them. Here’s why: they have 270 mg of Potassium, 3g of protein, Copper which is needed for enzymes in the body, and selenium which makes antioxidant enzymes in the body. Do I need to say more about theses delicious fungi?


Artichokes, like broccoli appear to be another super hero veggie packed with all sorts of good things and here they are: an excellent source of Vitamins K and C, seven grams of fiber, a great sources of Manganese, Copper, Iron, Potassium, and an excellent source of Magnesium and Folate. Bush Bean Review- We Have the Best Beans

We all know that eating beans is good for us because they are full of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. There are many ways you can prepare beans. Well, there is a company out there that’s “full of beans,” so to speak. Its been around for one hundred and elevens years. When it comes to beans, they have the best and fit the bill (or beans.) The company is called Bush’s Beans. I will break down the many uses or recipes for their beans below.
