I am a big tea junkie. I drink the stuff year around – hot in the winter and cold in spring and summer. There are some negative side effects of red tea if you have liver or kidney disease, hormonal cancers, or are going through chemotherapy treatment. You should contact your doctor before using red tea regularly. But overall, for people in generally good health, red tea is safe to drink, and negative side effects are extremely rare.
How to Brew
To brew red tea, you just need to boil some water and pour it over loose tea or tea bags, cover and leave for 5-15 minutes. Then add sweetener such as stevia, cane sugar or honey to taste. What does it taste like before sweeter is added? It has a mild, aromatic taste that is sweet and fruity with hints of vanilla and honey.
